BCECE, also known as Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The exam is a state level entrance exam conducted each year offering admissions to under-graduate engineering courses in participating colleges.
The online application for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination will be starting before the exam for which the application fees is Rs 1000 for general category and Rs 500 for reserved category. One can access to it via the BCECE official website.
A candidate who has passed their 10+2 exam with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (and 40% for reserved category) is eligible to apply. Admission will be made purely on merit, however, the candidate also needs to fulfill the minimum eligibility required for the program applied. Once the candidate registers online, he/she will be asked to download the admit card which needs to be produced during the day of the examination.
The medium of examination is both English and Hindi and it will be conducted in offline mode. BCECE contains 300 multiple choice objective type questions which includes related subjects and the duration of the exam is 4 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates are prohibited from using of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc. is NOT PERMITTED in BCECE. Four answers are given as choices for each question. Equal weight-age is given to all the questions. 4 (four) marks is awarded for each correct answer and there -1 (negative one) for each incorrect answer.
