Introduction

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur is a government college that offers degree programmes at various undergraduate, post graduate and doctorate levels. IIEST was formerly known as Bengal Engineering and Science University. The programmes offered by IIEST are mainly in the fields of engineering & technology, planning and architecture, basic sciences and business & management studies. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission is 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant discipline, from a recognized board for admissions at undergraduate levels.
