Introduction

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology conducts Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology B. Tech Admissions for selection to the Bachelor’s programme in petroleum engineering or chemical engineering. Candidates are selected on the basis of the JEE Scores. RGIPT is the conducting authority for selection of candidates for the B. Tech programmes. RGIT has 60 seats respectively in both the disciplines. Application forms are generally available from May and can be submitted till July. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility as laid by the institute before applying. Shortlisted candidates are required to take part in the counselling process for allotment of seats.
