Introduction

Formerly known as AIPMT, National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET is conducted by CBSE for undergraduate admissions in medical and dental sciences. All candidates are given three chances to appear for NEET. Application for NEET is online with Aadhar card mandatory for each candidate. The exam is conducted in offline mode. Any student passing 12th boards with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects are eligible to appear NEET. The pattern for the entrance exam is drawn mainly from class 11th and 12th CBSE syllabus. NEET 2018 dates are not announced yet.  The medical entrance exam is usually held on the first Sunday in the month of May every year. Candidates are advised to keep a check on the website for further announcements.
